יִתְרָא, יִי׳I m. ch. = h. יֶתֶר I, 1, strong cord, esp. 1) the cord of the bow. Snh.42a למיהוי כי י׳ (some ed. יְתֵירָא) until the shape of the moon is like that of the cord (with the bent bow, semicircular).Pl. (יְתֵירֵי) יִתְיֵי. M.
